Some common faults as reported by buyers and fabric/garment manufacturers

Lycra in the fabric looses elasticity after dyeing

Stains appear on solid dyed or bleached fabrics

Uneven dyeing apparent as light and dark lines, rope
  marks, streaks or bands on the body of dyed fabrics
  Could be uneven yarn used in ecru state or dyeing fault.

White spots scattered over the surface of solid dyed
  fabrics both knitted and woven due to hydrocellulose or
   oxycellulose formation in cotton

Needle point holes in dyed fabrics twills as well as knitted.

Yellowing of bleached fabrics /garments apparent after
   storage or transportation.
